Houseboat Rental Policies

  • Reservations for the Center Hill Lake houseboat rentals may be made by phone and may be confirmed upon receipt of deposit.
  • A $500 reservation deposit must be received no later than seven (7) days after reservation is made. This deposit is applied to houseboat rental amount.
  • Entire houseboat rental charge is due prior to boarding. We gladly accept cash, Visa and MasterCard, Travelers Checks, Money Orders, and Certified Checks. Personal checks accepted if received 30 days prior to departure.
  • Houseboat rental fee does not include gasoline, oil or Tennessee state tax.
  • Renter must check in, pay and be ready to leave at least 30 minutes before dark or boat must remain in the harbor until the next morning.
  • A $500 damage deposit will be collected upon check in and returned at the completion of the cruise after final inspection, provided that the houseboat is returned, refueled and unloaded before 10:00 a.m., and that the houseboat is clean and undamaged. There are no exceptions to this, regardless of the reason.
  • Marina will provide assistance for breakdowns during daylight working hours as quickly as possible. For the safety of the passengers and the marina staff, service at night will only be provided in the event of an emergency.
  • Refunds of payment will not be made for early termination of cruise. Please see cancellation policy.
  • Renter must have valid I.D. (driver’s license) and will be required to sign a rental agreement and waiver before boarding the houseboat rental.
  • The carrying on or storing on board of any flammable liquids is not allowed by order of State Fire Marshal.
  • Sorry, but pets are not permitted on houseboat rentals. We enjoy pets, but the houseboat experience makes it difficult to tend to pets, and our ability to clean becomes more complicated.

Houseboat Rental Cancellation Policy

  • If houseboat rental reservation is cancelled more than 30 days prior to departure date the deposit will be refunded in full if initial deposit is paid by cash or personal check. If deposit is made by credit card, a 3% charge will be deducted from the deposit to cover bank transfer fees.
  • If notice is less than 30 days prior to the scheduled departure date, up to 90% of deposit may be refunded if the vessel is re-rented.
  • No refund of deposit is available if cancellation is made less than 30 days prior and the houseboat cannot be re-rented.
  • If notice is less than 14 days prior to the scheduled departure date, up to the full price may be charged if the boat cannot be re-rented.
  • There are no refunds for inclement weather.
  • Transfers of dates or deposits may be made 30 days prior to original date in the same calendar year.

Pontoon Boat & Fishing Boat Rental Policies

  • If reservation for pontoon boat rental or fishing boat rental is cancelled more than 7 days to rental date, the deposit will be refunded in full if initial deposit is paid by cash or personal check. If deposit is made by credit card, a 3% fee may be deducted from the deposit to cover bank transfer fees.
  • If notice is less than 7 days prior to the scheduled departure date, up to the full boat rental price may be charged if the boat cannot be re-rented.
  • There are no refunds for inclement weather.
  • Transfers of dates or deposits may be made 7 days prior to original date in the same calendar year.
  • Towing tubes, skiing etc… is not permitted behind fishing boat or standard pontoon boat. It is permitted behind double decker pontoon boat only.
  • Must be 21 years of age to rent a boat, and must have a boater’s license if born on Jan 1, 1989 or after.

Camping Policies

  • Two night minimum Friday-Monday for sites with water and electricity.
  • Three night minimum on holidays.
  • Reservations required.
  • Pets are permitted in the campground but must remain on leash.
  • No more than two tents or one RV and one tent per site.
  • Maximum of eight people per site.
  • No golf carts, ATVs, go-carts, etc… permitted. This is a Corps of Engineer policy.

Cabin Rental Policies

  • Your deposit guarantees your responsibility for the total amount due for the entire number of nights being reserved for you.
  • If you need to CANCEL this reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit provided we receive 7 days notice of CANCELLATION prior to your arrival date.
  • There are NO PETS allowed in the cabins. Sorry for any inconvenience.
